Guests on their way out will depart on the next Monday at 9:00 am and arrive into Anchorage at 10:30 am. This airfare is included into the cost of the trip. Baggage allowances are one piece at 50 lb. and some misc. pieces at 20 lb. Your luggage will be weighed at Lake Clark Air- please discuss any extra gear you have over our weight limit. Any additional items may be left in Anchorage available to pick up on the way through. Please leave all hard sided luggage in Anchorage with the exception of a medium size roller duffel. After booking is completed, we will organize your transfer flight to the lodge. Most of the flights to Lake Clark go through spectacular Lake Clark Pass (weather permitting) so keep your camera handy.

Overnight Accommodations in Anchorage The flight schedule we have will connect with most arrivals and departures. If you would prefer to overnight in Anchorage, we recommend the Millennium Hotel or the Captain Cook.

On arriving at the lodge you will be shown to a room for the week and orientation will follow after dinner, including getting you licensed for fishing. This is also a good time to ask for any fly fishing instruction and just relax around the lodge. The lodge atmosphere is informal and casual attire is recommended. After a day of fishing you can relax in the sauna or the lodge and begin the evening with some hors d’ oeuvre's. Dinner is normally at 6:30 pm. We do have one phone line for the lodge, if you need to make a phone call during your stay please bring a calling card for this. The lodge phone is (907)781-2231.
The Weather can range from 50 to 75 degrees. The mornings can be cool. Alaskan weather is unpredictable and rain and wind can be a factor during your trip.
